Introducing our Co-Directors of Youth and Family Ministry

In this new year we are excited about the opportunities for min-istry to be growing with our children, youth and families. We are blessed to have Debbie Reichelt and Wendi Kishimoto move forward with this ministry. They both have been involved with our youth and family ministries these past few years. Both Wendi and Debbie are excited to be our

Co-Directors of Youth and Family Ministries.

Why Liturgical Dance Might Be the Right Fit for You

Maybe you love to dance.  Maybe you have never taken a dance class but just like to move to the music.  Maybe you’ve been looking for a new way to express praise to God.  Maybe you’ve been looking for a way to get more involved in worship at Zion but don’t have time in your schedule for a huge commitment.

If any of these statements apply to you then you might want to consider joining the Liturgical Dancers.  Men, women, boys, and girls of all ages are invited to join the Liturgical Dancers at any time.  Dance experience is NOT required although knowing   left from right is helpful.  The group typically participates in holiday services such as Christmas Eve and Easter, as well as roughly one worship service each month during the school year.  There is typically one hour-long practice held before each dance “performance”.  If there’s a service you can’t participate in that’s no problem, you can join us for the next one.

If you are interested in joining the Liturgical Dancers, just want to try it out, want more information, or have any questions please contact Anna Beth Fowler at abfowler2008@gmail.com.
