Summer Program

Zion will again be offering a Summer Program for Elementary and Middle School-aged Youth. This year we will be dividing our youth into three different age groups: K-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, and 6th-8th grade.

If you are interested in leading or helping with one of the groups, please contact Ginger. There is a stipend available for leader positions.

Choral Director Needed

Zion is seeking a Choral Director and Coordinator of the Music Program (10-15 hr/week). Duties include:

  • Sunday's 11am Traditional Service
  • Weekly choir rehearsals
  • Other church services (Lent, Advent, etc.)
  • Helping grow the choirs
  • Other music-related activities

Music Staff Must have a formal education with choral conducting, some organ and piano training, and knowledge of liturgical worship. Salary is negotiable.

Graduate Reception

Graduation Banner Graduates and their families are invited to gather at 10am in the Social Room on Sunday, May 20th for a celebration of their achievement.

We will spend time with Andrew Rickel (Gettysburg Seminary Student and former Assistant Director of Mar-Lu Ridge) as he talks about what it means to be a person of faith in the next stage of your life.

Faith Join Pastor Cris for "Brewing Faith: Being in the World", a Bible study on John 17. Learn about what Jesus prays for his disciples and what it says to us.

Vacation Bible School

We're in full gear preparing for this year's Vacation Bible School which will be held June 25th through June 29th.

VBS Adventures

We invite anyone who has completed 5th-12th grade to join us during the week of vacation bible school for fun activities. We will meet in the chapel each day at 12:30 pm to depart for our adventures.

Drummer Needed

Drum The Worship Team is looking for a drummer to replace Dan Puziss who will be going off to college in the fall.

  • Open to anyone age 15 and up.
  • You do not need to commit to playing every week.
  • The ability to read music is not a requirement.
  • Drums are supplied.
  • Priority will be given to Zion members, but non-members are welcome as well.
