Jim came to Zion membership via Rev. Emmanuel J. and Thelma I. Hoover his parents in 1966. He returned to Middletown on Heritage Day 1994. He, his wife Denise and their two daughters Jessica and Jaimie moved into Middletown where Jim and Denise still reside. Jessica resides in Arlington, Va. where she works and studies both full time. Jaimie is married and lives in Middletown with her husband Trey and her two children. After 35+ years in the automotive field, rather than retire Jim has become our Church Administrator. He can usually be found in the Church Office most weekdays, and at one of the weekend Services.

Deb has worked in the banking business for 15 years, including Assistant Vice President of Chemical Bank, New York before moving to Middletown. She currently serves as membership chair for Middletown High School PTA. She is active with the Girl Scouts as a Service Unit Manager for 32 troops in the Girl Scouts of America serving over 300 girls.

Debbie is the only daughter of Donald Palmer and Lynn Sheffer Palmer, raised in Myersville.  She is a lifelong member of Zion. Debbie has a strong accounting back ground obtaining her Master's degree from Mount St. Mary's College. After taking a year off to be a stay- at- home mother she has returned to accounting as the Financial Secretary at Zion. She and her husband, Jason Stup, reside in Myersville along with their daughter Danica, and son Andrew.

Wendi spent 10 years in banking and finance until becoming a stay at home mom for 14 years. She lives in Middletown with her three children, Tyler, Caroline and Brady.
